The 2019 Booker shortlist has been announced and I am extremely happy that Elif Shafak made it. I absolutely love 10 MINUTES 38 SECONDS IN THIS STRANGE WORLD, and Nat and I both gave it a five.
Unfortunately the rest of the list consists of the books I was leaving till last and one that I ended up DNF'ing. I was leaving the Atwood and Rushdie until last because I thought there was a strong chance that one of them would win. Atwood is one of my all time favourite authors, but I would love to see Shafak win, slight chance or not.
Here is the Shortlist for 2019!
