Living all the way over here in Australia, I was unable to attend one of the Theatre sessions for the unveiling of THE TESTAMENTS by Margaret Atwood. Fortunately I was able to pick up one of the packs from ZEITGEIST books.
The book has been very polarizing with readers with reviews ranging from 5 stars to 1. I must admit that I was a little underwhelmed, however with a book which has the unenviable title of being the sequel to THE HANDMAIDS TALE, I belive, that is was impossible for it to live up to the incredible hype. Having said that I enjoyed in immensly and there is a review on this site and on my goodreads account.
This edition is a first edition, first print published by CHATTO & WINDUS in 2019. It is signed by Atwood on the title page.
