THE FISH THAT CLIMBED A TREE, KINNARA - COLLECTION.

Both of these books are published by 2QT PUBLISHING. "The Fish that Climbed a Tree" is a first edition published in 2018, while "Kinnara" is a revised edition published in 2018 as well. I recently reviewed "The Minotaur's Son & other wild tales", a wonderful collection of short stories spanning many different genres.

I have that on order as well. All of these books have been penned by Kevin Ansbro, who I am lucky enough to know through goodreads and interviewed on this blog. Kevin is a wonderful chap and I'm ecstatic to have these books in my collection. Now I just have to find a way for Kevin to sign them.

Here is a synopsis for both novels -

"They sat themselves calmly and comfortably at the large dining table as if they were invited guests..."

Following his savage murder in a London vicarage, Reverend Ulysses Drummond embarks on an epic odyssey in the afterlife, wrestling with his conscience and misguidedly spurning the obvious advantages of a free ticket to Paradise.

His ten-year-old son, Henry, is left to muddle through life, encountering school bullies, big-hearted benefactors and cold-blooded killers on his passage to adulthood.

Will Henry find love, success and happiness in his life - or will he suffer the cruel and agonising death that was foretold?

"Sawat, I want to go into the water…”

Phuket, Thailand, seemed to be the perfect getaway choice for twenty-two-year-old Calum Armstrong: What he saw, and did on that holiday proves to have far- reaching consequences; not only for himself, but also for those closest to him.

In Germany, uncompromising Frankfurt detective, Otto Netzer,is leading the manhunt for a brutal serial killer who preys on heavily-pregnant women… Neither Calum, nor the killer, yet realise that their destiny lies in the hands of a mythical creature who resides beneath the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea.

Intriguing and exotic, Kevin Ansbro’s novel explores how our actions can come back to haunt us in the most unexpected ways.

‘Murder, myth and Mr Ordinary meet up in this extraordinary novel. However bad the weather is here, Ansbro’s vivid writing will transport you to a sun-drenched tropical island – with darkness at its heart. I loved it!’ -Karen Holmes, editor 2QT Publishing
