British warn Turks


Sept 29, 1922



The government has sent instructions to the British Commander in the Dardanelles, General Harrington, to demand the Turkish evacuation of the Neutral Zone following Turkey's crushing defeat of Greece. The Turks have set up observation posts which can be converted into gun positions threatening navigation in the area.
