I have been snowed under reading this year and the winner of the 2022 Women's Prize for fiction is just around the corner.
Of the six books in the shortlist I have only read two. "THE ISLAND OF MISSING TREES" by Elif Shafak and "GREAT CIRCLE" by Maggie Shipstead. I do have a copy of Ruth Ozeki's "THE BOOK OF FORM AND EMPTINESS" coming from overseas.
Shafak's book is amazing and the book I would like to see win at the moment. However, I loved "A TALE FOR THE TIME BEING" by Ruth Ozeki and I have only heard positive news about her book. If I get to read it in time it may become my new favourite.
